Take your family, office, church or scout group on the Deerfield River’s Zoar Gap. The class II and III rapids on Zoar's most popular trip is ideal for beginner and intermediate rafters, and the unspoiled valley creates the perfect setting for wilderness adventure.
Your ten-mile trip begins at Fife Brook Dam. Rapids such as Microwave, Freight Train, and Pinball allow crews to hone their skills in preparation for the raging whitewater of Zoar Gap. Below the Gap, you'll pull over in a state forest for a delicious picnic-style lunch with salads, homemade breads and cookies.
After lunch there are opportunities to swim or simply relax as you raft back to their basecamp where hot showers and a slide show of the day's adventure await.
