They raft on six different river sections from April through October and offer trips for beginner to advanced rafters. They have guaranteed whitewater releases on the Deerfield River throughout the summer season due to an agreement with the local hydroelectric company. Zoar Outdoor's bike rental program offers rides in the local area or a 25-mile downhill ride from Heartwellville, Vermont along the Deerfield River, ending at Zoar Outdoor. This scenic trip has spots for swimming, picnicing and watching the kayaks, canoes and rafts on the river along the way.
