The Menominee River provides the whitewater enthusiast with some of the LARGEST VOLUME RAPIDS IN THE MIDWEST, and characteristics similar to those found on the Colorado River. Due to the size of these Class IV rapids, Wildman only runs ten-person self-bailing rafts with a guide in every boat.
The Menominee is a scenic 45-minute drive from the Ranch. Meet at Wildman's second location, Bomber's Golf Course at Wildman Great Outdoors. Here you can enjoy lunch and/or dinner at the award-winning Bomber's BBQ restaurant. Changing tents available.
The trip begins along the gorgeous 200-foot cliffs bordering Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Down river you will encounter the famous rapids of 'Piers Gorge', which you will run two times.
