The Colorado River and the Grand Canyon through which it flows has intrigued the minds and lives of men since first being conquered by John Wesley Powell in 1869.
For the ultimate in river adventure and professional guide service, Tour West features the Colorado River and all the major rapids through the Grand Canyon. The majestic splendor of nature’s creations as seen inside canyons as you stop along the way, and the rivers as it winds its way through Grand Canyon National Park are unmatched anywhere.
A typical day’s experience starts with a hearty breakfast. Departing on the raft for river running, you stop for lunch at an interesting beach or side canyon. You will enjoy buffet style sandwiches, fresh fruit, cookies and candy. The afternoon will be spent river running followed by a great western dinner of steak, chicken, Spanish casserole, or fish with all the trimmings.
