Thornton’s guided spring trip is five miles of the most challenging whitewater in the Midwest offering Class III, IV and V rapids. No experience is needed, so be one of the first to experience the challenge of the Springtime Whitewater Adventures.
Trips run early April to mid-May, with trips leaving Sunday to Friday at 9:30am and 12:30pm. Saturdays trips leave at 9:00am, 11:30am and 2:00pm. Check in time is one hour before trip. It is VERY important to bring an unlined windbreaker, wool sweater, wool socks, tennis shoes and a change of clothes.
Take something home to show your friends when your ride is over and continue to remember your whitewater rafting experience at Thornton's Resort. On request you can have your ride videotaped (a copy of your dvd will be provided at a minimal charge).
