This trip lets you do it all! The first day starts off with relatively mild paddling on the Upper New River where you’ll experience the beauty and wonder of the gorge on smaller Class II-III rapids. This section provides the perfect opportunity to paddle a duck, or inflatable kayak. Give it a try! You'll graduate to the Lower New River on the second day for a more intense whitewater rafting experience on Class III-IV rapids. The water is bigger and more adventurous but you'll still have time to catch your breath below each drop. Get the most out of your trip to West Virginia.
