Facilities
Rivermen Whitewater’s facilities include The Outfitter Store, a lighted volleyball court, an entertainment lodge and bar, a bonfire pit, a cook pavilion, modern restrooms, secluded camping, cabin tent rentals, rustic ranch rooms and new country cabins.

Philosophy
Rivermen Whitewater is a family-owned and operated business that has lived by three simple principals over the last 20 great years:
  1. to offer the very best whitewater rafting and outdoor adventure trips in the industry;
  2. to provide exceptional value in all of their products and services, and;
  3. to have every guest feel that he or she is a member of Rivermen Whitewater family.
Over the years, Rivermen Whitewater have encourage and listened to customer feedback in order to fulfill their commitment to these principles. They are constantly evolving to become a better company and in their quest for this, they have come up with a number of new trips, lodging options and packages.

Equipment
Rivermen Whitewater take great pride in the quality, design and care of their equipment. Throughout their 20-year quest for the ultimate river experience, they have used rafts and ducks from just about every manufacturer in the world. They were never totally satisfied with existing designs. Since 1990, they have worked with 7 different companies and created a number of prototypes based on their original rafting design. Each model brought them a little closer to the ultimate rafting machine. In 1995, they began working with Wing Inflatables in Arcata, California and finally came up with the finest 8-person raft ever created! Take a Rivermen trip and experience the difference yourself.

Staff
The essence of Rivermen Whitewater and the main reason for their success over the years is their staff. These dedicated professionals are not content following the standards; they define them for trip dynamics, guide development and wilderness and swift water rescue training. Additionally, season after season, the friendship and camaraderie that has developed between Rivermen Whitewater’s staff and guests has created a unique atmosphere that you simply have to experience firsthand.

Safety
Every year, Rivermen Whitewater guide thousands of whitewater enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels down the New and Gauley Rivers. Since they want you to become one of those enthusiasts, your safety is their primary concern. Their guides are constantly undergoing training, practicing the latest techniques and fine-tuning their skills. They will provide instruction both before and during your trip; ask as many questions as you like at any time.

   Reservation Policy


Spring/Summer New and Gauley River Trips To confirm a reservation, we require a $25.00 non-refundable per person deposit within 14 days of making a reservation. The full balance is due 30 days prior to the first day of activity.

Fall Gauley River Trips To confirm a Fall Gauley reservation, we require a $50.00 non-refundable per person deposit within 14 days of making a reservation. The full balance is due 60 days prior to the first day of activity.

   Cancellation Policy


  • All cancellations must be received in writing.
  • Cancellations made 21 days prior to the trip start date will receive a refund less the non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations made 5-20 days prior to the trip date will receive a rain-check good for the following 2 seasons less the non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations made 2-4 days prior to the trip date will receive a rain-check good for the following 2 seasons less a 50% cancellation fee.
  • No-shows on the day of a trip or cancellations within 24 hours of the start date will not be considered for any reimbursement.
