The 2008 Rafting season will be here soon!!!
This season will have some more great dam releases from all of Garrett county’s reservoirs, Deep Creek, Savage, and Jennings Randolph. This will create a rafting season for everyone from novice to expert. There are some new and exciting changes to the Upper Yough season as well as 3 new dam releases on the Savage river so sign up for our News Letter, CLICK HERE to stay informed.
The 2008 Upper Yough season will be as follows:
The first releases will be the last two Fridays in April, April 18 & 25
The first two Mondays in May, May 5 & 12
The first three Fridays in May, May 2, & 9, & 16
Memorial day weekend will have releases on Friday May 23rd and Saturday the 24th.
All releases in May will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
In June the release time will shift to 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
There will be releases on all Mondays and Fridays in June.
The Saturday season will start on June 21 and will release every Saturday until September 13th.
In
July and August the releases will be every Monday & Friday & Saturday.
In September the releases will still be every Monday and Friday and the first two Saturdays.
In September the time shifts back to 10:00am to 1:00pm
In October we will have the First Saturday.
The Monday releases will go until October 13.
Friday releases will last until the 10th of October.
This year we will also get 3 releases on the Savage river for some great class 3-4 rafting.
The releases will be the first Sunday in July and the first Sunday in August and the first Sunday in September.

It’s time to go rafting.
The 2007 season is in full swing and the conditions couldn’t be better.
We have some new and exciting changes to the Upper Yough season as well as 3 new dam releases on the Savage river so sign up for our News Letter CLICK HEREto stay informed.
The 2007 upper Yough season will be as follows:
First 2 Mondays in May, May 7th & 14th
First Saturday in May the 5th
The First 3 Fridays in May
Memorial day weekend will have releases on Sunday May 27th and Monday the 28th.
All releases in May will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
In June the release time will shift to 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
All Mondays and Friday in June.
The Saturday season will start onJune 23 and will release every Saturday until September 8th
July and August we will have releases every Monday and Friday and Saturday
In September the time shifts back to 10:00am to 1:00pm We will still have every Monday and Friday and thefirst two Saturdays.
In October we will have the First Saturday
The Monday releases will go until October 15 and the Friday releases will last until the 7th of October.

Why go rafting?? Being out on a river in a wild and remote canyon is one of the most invigorating and energizing experiences that you can still do in this day and age. The stress relief that you get from a river trip pays off in many ways. Just being able to focus on something other than the distractions of the daily grind make a rafting trip more rejuvenating and rewarding than you realize. Being out in the wilds of mother nature is something that we are getting to do less and less of as the hustle and bustle of this busy world takes over our lives. On a raft trip the batteries of our soul get a recharging from all of the negative ions that you find in the spray of at the bottom of a rapid. Lots of extra ozone in the air helps you to clear your lungs of the daily toxins we take in during the course of our lives. The physical excretion you do when paddling the raft downstream increases blood flow that helps the body rid itself of toxins in the blood stream. The number onet reason to go rafting though is the simple fact that rafting is exciting and fun, lots of fun with just a little bit of the unknown thrown in help stimulate the mind. So in the long run rafting is good for the body, the spirit and the soul as well as the mind. Give us a call if you wish to recharge your adventure spirit. Precision Rafting Expeditions welcomes you to our 26th year of operation. We would like to thank all of our patrons for their continued support and great experiences on and off the river. As well as those we hope to meet this year. The up coming season is shaping up to be exciting and action packed. If you’re looking to enjoy a mild float trip or red line your adrenalin meter than we have the trip for you.
The Upper Yough season starts: Monday April 17 and then every Monday and Friday until Friday October 13.

If you’re not ready for prime time check out some of our Inflatable kayaks , they are more stable and you’re able to run harder rapids .
These inflatables can be used on the Cheat Narrows, the North Branch of the Potomac and if you really want a challenge the Cheat Canyon, for the ultimate experience, (beware this one is not for the faint of heart).
