Company Owner Roger Zbel Doing What He Enjoys Most
Meet Precision Rafting Precision Rafting is a family-owned business where the owners accompany almost every trip that is run. They have been doing this for 21 years and believe that it is important to know how their trips are run and that everyone is having a fun yet safe time. Safety is a very important issue and they take it very seriously. They do a Pre-trip briefing with rafters, then more safety talks throughout the trip. All PRE trip leaders have at least 20 years experience with a love for the river and the runs that make it a way of life for them.
What sets PRE apart from other companies is that it sets the pace and the rest follow. Started in 1981, PRE was the first outfitter on the Upper Yough (pronounced “Yok”) and the first to use safety boaters. They train and employ the best guides and maintain state-of-the-art equipment.
With their riverside headquarters located at the take-out on the Upper Yough, guests won’t find a more convenient raft trip in the eastern United States. They have hot showers, a river equipment store for last minute items, and a deluxe cookout at the end of the trip.
