A beautifully quiet and scenic float beginning at the Leavenworth Natioinal Fish Hatchery on the Icicle River and continuing through the calm upper waters of the Wenatchee River, past farmlands, woodlands and marshy areas teaming with a wide variety of birds to the take out across the river from Leavenworth's Blackbird Island City Park. Up close views of bald eagles, osprey, vultures, warblers, woodpeckers, merganzers, herons, mink, river otter, beaver, and much much more.
