The naturalist Galapagos itinerary offers a full range of activities designed to bring you into intimate contact with the unique ecosystem of the islands and the creatures that inhabit them. They are great for animal lovers, plant lovers, and bird lovers. On these adventures, you will experience nature closer than you ever dreamed possible. Naturalist cruises include easy hikes and panga rides as well as the opportunity to go swimming, snorkeling and sea kayaking, all of which are optional. The Galapagos Islands are a natural paradise where the creatures have little or no fear of humans, making it ideal to interact in diverse habitats.
Friendly guides are highly educated and experienced in the natural history of the islands and will open up a world of wonders for you. All of this translates into great fun, excellent photography and the feeling that you are a star in your own nature show.

All prices based on double occupancy (except Cabin C4 on Evolution, which is a single cabin). If you prefer a single cabin, a single supplement of 75% will be charged. If you are traveling solo and wish to share accommodations, Northwest Voyageurs can pair you with a same-gender traveler and you will not be charged the single supplement. If you wish to share a cabin on the vessel, but you need a single hotel room while in Quito, the total single supplement cost is $250 for all trips.
Price does not include international airfare, airfare to the Galapagos ($410), National Park Entrance Fee & Transit Card ($110) and optional gratuities, and gas surcharge of $264 on Evolution and $306 on all other vessels.
Add $400 per person for the Christmas and New Years weeks.
Children 11 and under on date of arrival receive a 15% discount. Limit of one discount per cabin, two maximum per family. No children's discounts are given during Easter, Christmas or New Years weeks. Proof of age required.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Galapagos Islands Wildlife Cruise Each tour and each vessel is always a little different. Below you will find a general day-by-day itinerary that holds true for all trips.
Arrive at the airport in Quito, Ecuador. Transportation is provided to the Swisshotel. (Arrangements can be made for you to arrive in Guayaquil if you prefer.)
Day 2: Today is a free day to relax and enjoy Quito. An optional tour to the world-famous indigenous markets in Otavalo is available. The tour includes lunch and plenty of time to explore and shop In the evening dinner is on your own after which you return to the Swisshotel.
(B - Hotel Accommodations)
Day 3: Following an early breakfast, you are transported to the airport for a flight to the Galápagos Islands, stopping briefly in the coastal city of Guayaquil en route. The turquoise blue water surrounding the coast is visible from the air, and it’s not long after passing through Park Inspection that you cross from shore to reach the yacht and home for the next week. While settling into your cabin and surroundings, meet the guide and crew, and then set out on your first landing.

Days 4-9: Living aboard the yacht for the next six days will be among the most memorable of your life as you cruise the Galápagos Islands, visiting many of the same places Darwin did more than 150 years ago. Make daily landings on such fabled islands as Isabela, Bartolome, Santa Cruz, and Española. Opportunities abound to snorkel and sea kayak in clear waters and to explore the islands by foot. Naturalist guides lead you on wildlife encounters only possible in this amazing archipelago.

Day 10: After a final morning visit to a landing site, the cruise comes to an end and you return to port for the return flight from the Galápagos to Quito.

Reservation Policy
A per person non-refundable deposit of $1,000 for the Galapagos & Africa, $400 for multi-day trips, $100 for overnight trips, and $25 for day trips is required to confirm your reservation. A deposit of $25 per lodge room, per night is also required. The full balance is due 90 days prior to your trip for multi-day trips and 60 days prior to your trip for day trips and lodge reservations. If your trip is booked less that 60 days in advance, full payment is required at the time of reservation.
