The Northwest Voyageurs Crew
Northwest Voyageurs employs a diverse staff of river professionals that mirrors the diversity of our guests. Our guides are some of the most experienced and talented guides on the river. They are fun-loving, and love to share tales and knowledge of the region. They all work extremely hard to help ensure you enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
| Andy Nachman
Andy is our hard-working owner. He is often the voice you speak with on the other end of the phone and runs the company while the guides go have all the fun. In addition to escaping from the office to guide some of our adventures, Andy develops our new international adventures to destinations like Costa Rica and Baja Mexico.
| Connie Kennedy
Connie and her husband Mike (not pictured) have been guiding for a combined 40 years (over 30 years with us). They have lived their lives in our canyons and can provide personal accounts of the pioneers that inhabited these parts generations ago. Their experience, ability and safety they provide on the river are of the highest level.
| Chris Johnson & Linda Hagedorn
Chris is not only a river guide with over ten years of experience, but is also an environmental scientist. His passion for adventure and wilderness are matched by his knowledge of our rivers. His wife Linda guides for us as well - when she is not working as the river ranger on the Salmon River.
| Jeff Rawlings & Mia
Mia has recently earned her lead guide status after three years of running our rivers. Her owner Jeff is our hard-working gear boatman. Jeff's passion for rafting is contagious. And he is simply a fabulous cook.
| Katherine Fout
Katherine started working for us four years ago as a college intern. After she graduated from Notre Dame, she chose to stop working in our office and start guiding our adventures. Katherine's traveled extensively during the last few off-seasons and is currently working as a rafting and sea kayaking guide in Costa Rica in the winter.
