1-Day Trip
The Dead River has the longest most continuous stretch of whitewater in New England. Big water is released only ten times a year, and this is one river no serious rafter should miss! This 16-mile run is a wild and woolly, boulder-strewn whitewater bonanza. The Dead River comes alive when spring runoff causes flooding, and also in the fall when the lakes are drawn down to get ready for winter. Big water, spectacular foliage, and guaranteed fun!
Finish the day with a hearty lakeside grilled lunch and a slide and video presentation of your adventure. The Dead River comes alive when spring runoff causes flooding, and also in the fall when the lakes are drawn down to get ready for winter. Big water, spectacular foliage, and guaranteed fun!
Add a second day of rafting to any reservation and pay only $50.00 more for the lower cost day.
Choose one of their six-person high adventure rafts ... this smaller raft gives you bigger hits and a wilder ride for only $15 extra per person. Book these play boats early; there are only six in the fleet!
Upgrade to a lobster lunch with mussels, corn on the cob, baked potato and strawberry shortcake instead of the regular lunch of steak, chicken, fish or vegetarian option for only $15.00 more per person.
Add a half-day kayak float trip, canoe trip, hike, guided fishing or moose safari the day before or the day after your raft trip for an extended outdoor vacation.
