The Gorge run begins at Mother Lode's camp on the South Fork American with a series of Class l and ll warm-up rapids. Stop for lunch along the river before the canyon narrows and the river sweeps up downstream in a series of continous Class lll rapids such as "Satan's Cesspool" and "Hospital Bar". If you're not an early riser this 11:00am meeting time is perfect for you.

Reservation Policy
Reservations can be made on-line, by phone or fax. A $50 per person per day deposit is required upon booking. This assures space on your chosen trip.
Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your trip, all but a $25/person fee will be refunded provided Mother Lode has written notice at least 30 days prior to your trip. Email notice is acceptable. Cancellations received less than 30 days are not elgible for refunds, however, you may find another qualified person to take your place without penalaty. Cancellation insurance is available from Mother Lode's office or your travel agent.
