The whitewater action on this upper stretch start almost immediately with "Meatgrinder" - the longest, most technical rapid on the South Fork. Continuing through the canyon you'll go from one great rapid to another, building up to the infamous "Troublemaker" just above Coloma. After a hearty lunch prepared by your multi-talented guide, the run continues to Malode Camp.

Reservation Policy
Reservations can be made on-line, by phone or fax. A $50 per person per day deposit is required upon booking. This assures space on your chosen trip.
Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your trip, all but a $25/person cancellation fee will be refunded provided Mother Lode River Trips has written notice at least 30 days prior to your trip. Email notice is acceptable. Cancellations received less than 30 days are not eligible for refunds, however, you may find another qualified person to take your place without penalty. Cancellation insurance is available from Mother Lode's office or your travel agent.
