More and more people are discovering the joys of overnight rafting adventures. These trips use the North Fork during late summer when water levels on the Middle Fork are insufficient. Extended trips all end in the West Glacier area with the longest trips starting farthest upriver. An average day’s float is 15 miles of spectacular scenery, with most of the whitewater being encountered the last day.

Trip Itinerary
Half Day: Whitewater Rafting Enjoy a three-hour trip on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River along the southwestern boundary of Glacier National Park. You'll be going through John Stevens Canyon where the rapids are rated Class II and III, which makes it a fun and splashy adventure. Following the simple commands of the guide, you will actually become part of the crew that maneuver your craft. Be sure to wear clothes you won't mind getting wet. Wetsuits are available for no additional cost.
