Imagine drifting along one of Glacier’s wild and scenic rivers. Looking deep into the forests and passing an occasional meadow ablaze with wildflowers. While the rocks that line the rivers edge and the mountains that rise above hold nature’s hidden story. Hearing only the water rushing over the rocks and the occasional splash of whitewater. And look, there’s a whitetail with this year’s fawn, or maybe a moose or an elk. Maybe even a glimpse of a bear or a river otter. Whether the mode of the day is dangling your toes in the crystal clear water or helping paddle the boat, it’s a great vacation for everyone.

Trip Itinerary
Days 1-2: This trip takes place on the North and Middle Forks of the Flathead River, which create the western and southern borders of Glacier National Park respectively. These rivers have also each been included in America’s Wild and Scenic River Corridor and after spending a day or two on them you will understand why. The Middle Fork has the more exciting whitewater, but both rivers offer a spectacular trip through this pristine wilderness area.
Each day you’ll be on the rafts approximately five hours with ample time to stop and hike or fish if you’re interested. Each night your guide will pick a scenic spot along the river to set up camp. Camping, along the banks of the river provides the setting for a peaceful night’s sleep, and there’s nothing like waking up to one of those Montana breakfasts. Your jovial guides will keep you well fed with a smile on your face.
On the last day you will take off the river in the late afternoon and should be back to the office in West Glacier around 4:00 or 5:00 and the office folks will be waiting to hear your adventures.
