Tavaputs Ranch Visit with Desolation Canyon Raft Trip
Two-day/two-night stay at Tavaputs Ranch followed by a five-day/four-night raft trip on the Green River through Desolation Canyon. Enjoy two magical days on a working ranch one mile above the Green River, on the Tavaputs Plateau. This ranch is an alpine jewel, remote and extremely beautiful, with views of hundreds of miles, and all the comforts of home. Very good friends of Moki Mac, the Jensen family, will treat you to fabulous meals, horseback rides and scenic tours of "their" mountain. Following this western experience, join our Desolation Canyon rafting trip. This canyon of the Green River received its name from John Wesley Powell during his epic descent of the Green and Colorado Rivers in 1869 and 1871, but it is far from "desolate". Red rock canyon walls and a verdant ribbon of riverside foliage define this incised meander cutting through the Tavaputs Plateau. The trip is 84 miles in length and includes about 50 riffles and rapids. "Deso" is appropriate for children as young as six years of age, and has provided a family vacation venue for many guests.

Reservation Policy
$200 deposit required at time of reservation, balance due 60 days prior to launch date.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds are allowed for cancellations received less than 90 days prior to trip departure. Cancellations before 90 days will be refunded less a $25 cancellation fee.
