Inside Out Experience Team
Inside Out Experience is a year round Outdoor Adventure Company that started small in 1995 and has grown steadily over the past six years. We were awarded the 2006 ALTO Award for Sustainable Tourism. The Sustainable Tourism Award is presented for Environmental, Cultural and Community Integrity.
Inside Out Experience, Head Office based in Bragg Creek, Alberta, provides outdoor adventures such as whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and many other programs. Our uniqueness is that our tours are interpretive and experiential (learn by doing).
Activities are non-motorized and by staying on established trails and rivers, the impact is minimal. It is in our best interest to keep these environments as pristine as possible for future tourism activities. Inside Out Experience is involved with many corporations and organizations so as to keep this integrity.

Inside Out Experience is an environmentally sound company that uses the local communities for services and goods as well as combining unique packages for our clients that also provides a “one stop shopping” experience. We also spend a lot of time working on our learning programs to share the human history, geography, geology, flora and fauna of the areas we operate our tours in. In April and May, we run 15 days of training for our staff. This includes a raft guide school, wilderness first aid, swift water rescue and a weekend retreat where we go through risk management, customer service, the company staff manual and interpretive training with local experts. Our training programs such as Wilderness First Aid, Swift Water Rescue, Team Building, Raft Guide School and Survival Programs are used by many other adventure companies. Our staff come from all over Canada to work with Inside Out Experience.

Pratt (the owner) is proud of the company’s sustainable environmental practices and interpretive programs. By getting staff to buy into our ethos we have been able to deliver an outstanding program. Many corporations are going into the outdoors for their staff programs, which provides them with a FUN experience and rewarding in that the learning gained through the program is transferred back to the workplace.
We keep to our mission statement of providing consistent high quality outdoor adventure experiences that allow people to connect with themselves, the outdoors and the community.
