Here the river flows down through the high country running clear and cold, teeming with trout. Campsites are under the branches of ancient 100-foot Ponderosa pines. This stretch is the home of the legendary Class IV Snaggletooth Rapid. Here begins one of the most challenging stretches of water in the west, culminating in the fury of the Narrows ten miles downstream.

Trip Itinerary
Dolores River, Ponderosa Gorge Itinerary: Spring Whitewater's Ultimate Rafting 3-10 Days Day 1, pick up from Cortez, CO at 7:30am from lodging. Travel to river for put on about 10:00am. Two nights on the river camping. Side canyon hikes viewing petroglyphs, pictographs and ruins. All meals from lunch through lunch Day 3 are provided. Camping equipment extra or bring your own. Return to Cortez at end of Day 3 by Dvoraks.
This trip can be continued as a five, eight or ten days to complete the entire Dolores River Canyons.

Reservation Policy
25% deposit required.
Cancellation Policy
If cancellations made more than 45 days prior to the trip, a non-refundable $50. Under 45 days up to 14 days prior to trip, the 25% is not refundable. Under 14 days, no refund is given.
