Arkansas River - All Canyons 125 Miles to Choose From

Situated in the heart of the Rockies, the Arkansas River threads its way through a vacationer's paradise. From the river's source in the beautiful Arkansas Valley with dramatic 14,000-foot peaks to the bottom of the Royal Gorge, the Arkansas has it all. Dvorak's Expeditions offers everything from half-day to four-day combination trips. Whether you seek a family vacation with several activities or the challenge of Class V whitewater, Dvorak's has a trip for you.

Combination Trips
The Arkansas Valley is in the heart of Chaffee County, which is home to more 14,000-foot peaks than any other county in the continental United States. Therefore, the potential for other activities - horseback riding, mountain biking, hot springs, ghost town four-wheeling and hiking - are endless. Dvorak's Expeditions offers combination trips featuring any of these activities with addition to your river trip. Ask about these other options and create your own complete Rocky Mountain Adventure. Downstream of the Numbers the Arkansas slices through solid granite, making Brown's Canyon. This is a great new challenge or an exhilarating first experience.
