Gauley River National Recreation Area, WV

The free-flowing Gauley River and the Meadow River pass through scenic gorges and valleys containing a wide variety of natural and cultural features. The park encompasses 11,495 acres of land, and includes 25.5 miles of the Gauley River and 5.5 miles of the Meadow River. There are currently 4,092 acres in NPS ownership.
