The New River Gorge Class VI rafters navigate through the rapids beneath the New River Gorge Bridge. Spanning the gorge at 876 feet high, the New River Gorge Bridge is the Western Hemisphere's tallest single span arch bridge, and the world's longest at 3,030 feet. This section of river, known as the Lower New, is one of the most popular rafting locations in America.
