Neil Hartling, Founder, Outfitter, Guide, Author and Environmentalist

Neil Hartling fell into northern outfitting and guiding 25 years ago during an expedition on the famous Nahanni River. Above a threatening rapid, he saved the lives of a local First Nations family who were making their way to their village when their boat motor quit. The friendship that ensued, resulted in the gift of a rare Outfitting License for Nahanni National Park and World Heritage Site. There was no looking back - and the rest is history!
