The Skagit River offers a a great opportunity for viewing wildlife. In addition to abundant waterfowl and views of the Cascade Mountains, migrating salmon leaping from the water, beavers, bald eagles, and deer have been spotted on this trip. During the winter months, the largest gathering of bald eagles in the lower 48 inhabits the banks of the Skagit and bird-lovers from all over come to participate in the trip.
Always an important part of the trip, Blue Sky's food is one of the reasons guests come back year after year! On the Skagit River rafting trip, you’ll enjoy a light snack for lunch before your trip and a famous Steak BBQ afterwards, with corn on the cob, fresh salad, french bread, and lemonade!
Blue Sky Outfitters' Skagit trips are hosted at their North Cascades property, which also offers camping and lodging at the guest house.
