This course is designed to train students to become commercial guides and will concentrate on paddling and rowing swift, steep, small volume rivers. There will be added emphasis on advanced paddle technique, oar-paddle combination rafts, and technical whitewater. The workshop includes advanced safety training as well as more sophisticated rescue and rope work.
