Red Bud to Railroad Flat Explore an 18-mile river journey with breathtaking scenery and unforgettable adventure. The starting point is just outside the entrance to Yosemite National Park. The Merced is an excellant choice for those who would like to combine their rafting aventure with a visit to the park. The Merced is an exciting class IV run during the peak snowmelt in late May.
