Adventure Connection was started over 20 years ago by a group of individuals who had been employed by numerous other outfitters throughout California. Working for these companies helped them form their own opinion about what they wanted to create – an organization that was dedicated to safety, first-class quality, exceptional service and with an eye on innovative and exciting opportunities for guests. That company was, and is, Adventure Connection, Inc.
Their collective vision has endured, grown and matured over two decades to help make Adventure Connection one of this nation’s leading professional river outfitting businesses. And the reason for that starts and ends with you – their current and future guests. Adventure Connection understands that their only job is to make you feel like royalty. And each and every one of the employees is tuned into that very concept.
Today, trips span the length of California from the Upper Klamath on the Oregon border, south through the North, Middle and South Forks of the American in the heart of Gold Country and right on down to the raging Kaweah River just east of Visalia in Southern California. They include special half-priced mid-week family adventures suitable for kids 7 to 75, white knuckle journeys on more difficult Class IV and V rivers, a unique “Red Wine/White Water” adventure through the burgeoning El Dorado County winery regions, a “Paddle Me/Pamper Me” rafting and day spa journey, “Forward Paddle and Fore!” – a rafting and golf trip… and much, much more!
Base camp facilities are the envy of all – a 25-acre private ranch divided into two separate camps for your exclusive use. Restrooms, flush toilets, hot showers… volleyball, ping pong… an extensive camp store with most anything you might need but forgot to bring in your excitement to get up on the river. All of it awaits your arrival. And the food… oh my! An amazing array of wholesome, fresh and delicious ingredients put together by guides that double as chefs extraordinaire! Plus, on overnight trips, premium wines, micro-brewed beers and non-alcoholic beverages are served. Adventure Connection has never tried to run a special “Gourmet Trip” with the attached extra pricing because frankly… they do that every day! Cancellation Policy
Upon receipt of a written cancellation notice, 31 days or more, prior to your launch date, you will receive a full refund less your deposit. Any cancellation made within 30 days of the trip will not be subject to a refund. You may, however, substitute another person with no penalty.
Although it is highly unlikely, Adventure Connection reserves the right to cancel or modify a trip due to insufficient reservations, water conditions, weather, or other conditions beyond their control. There will be a full credit issued for any trip cancelled by Adventure Connection. Their financial liability is limited to the amount paid to Adventure Connection and shall not cover any other costs incurred by trip members.
