ACE Adventure Resort's most popular trip, you will experience the “Grand Canyon of the East”, in grand style! This is a full day of adventure. You will challenge 20+ legendary rapids (Class II-IV+). You will sit in comfort and enjoy ACE Adventure Resort's famous hot, grilled, riverside gourmet lunch. (ACE Exclusive! They are the only outfitter with restrooms, covered picnic tables and grilled lunches at a private riverside lunch spot.)
Each raft has its own professionally trained guide to spoil you, navigate you through the rapids, join in the fun and games, and to share stories and colorful tales of the rich historic and cultural heritage this National Treasure has to offer.
This trip is suitable for adventurous first time rafters. The first half of the day is a great introduction, allowing first time rafters to get comfortable challenging easy Class II-III rapids, relaxing in large pools, swimming and playing. After lunch, drop into the gorge proper and challenge the big rapids and play! You can expect to be on the river for 5+ hours (total trip time is 6½-7½ hours – dependant on river levels) with a hot lunch. Mileage varies with river levels.
