Located half-way between Montreal and Ottawa, the Rouge River is one of the most versatile adventure rivers in Canada. Rafting and kayaking can be enjoyed all season long at various water levels due to the Rouge's unique river features. The river is lined with sandy beaches and deep gorges protecting raging rapids, many have been named by the local river guides like “Washing Machine”, “Slice & Dice”, Elizabeth's ledge, and “Confusion”. A rafting trip on the Rouge River is unforgettable and well within reach if you are visiting the Ottawa or Montreal areas.
Your safety and the environment is of primary concern during any ABV Kayak & Excursions adventure. Only experienced professional rafting guides with up-to-date wilderness first aid and river rescue certifications are hired. In addition, eco-friendly “leave-no-trace” rafting policies keep the environment in its pristine state for others to enjoy.
Kayakers welcome! Do you have whitewater kayaking experience and want to follow a guided trip down the Rouge River? No problem! Experienced guides will provide you with detailed descriptions on the rapids, where to go and where not to go. In addition to backing you up with security just in case of a miscalculated line.
